From this mountain I watch
As Greeks fall another notch
Down the ladder of the world
Like a discus that had been hurled
O’er the mountain, past the sea
Taking their love far away from me
Faiths crumble, belief starts to wan
What has come of my great clan?
As I fade from their mind
I watch as they slowly go blind
As Greeks fall another notch
Down the ladder of the world
Like a discus that had been hurled
O’er the mountain, past the sea
Taking their love far away from me
Faiths crumble, belief starts to wan
What has come of my great clan?
As I fade from their mind
I watch as they slowly go blind

Find Yourself Today
You needn’t look very far or wide to find yourself today I found myself today reveling in a clear wave of sounds The wonderful sounds of numerous feathered creatures sitting in the Oak trees You need not look any further than you are to find yourself today I found myself today frantically scampering and scattering about When my cozy hiding place under the leaves was disrupted by a gush of wind You needn’t look to the outlying hills to find yourself today I found myself today in the sharp piercing gaze of a shrewd raptor It was time to practice my highly honed skills of camouflage, silence and readiness You needn’t look very far or wide to find yourself today I found myself today and every day in the simple ubiquitously present Residing in the ever-lasting never-ending moment of an omnipresent here and now Copyright ©

A sorry caution
A sorry caution "Sorry" can be overused, lose its meaning. Be abused. Not said with real and true intention. As if just mumbled in passing mention. Not honestly felt and with heart. When excuse-invention, is the art. Yet a sorrow show of regret and meaningful apology, can also sound and receive like marvellous melody. Ease the pain and not in vain. Make close again friends, and make amends. It is in that sense like a flame or flare, caution, please: handle with care. Updated, Edited and written by Piezometric Poetry on 09-06-2023 Poem artwork

Universal love
Aria - B minor ¾ Larghetto ~ expresso ~ (lyrics scored to Music (link in the description bellow) based on Vedro con mio diletto, by A.Vivaldi) (voice to the cello) And if - I may embrace her again The daughter of divine eternal Elysium And if - true -love - is - fair, let us meet again In that golden wheat field Plain The source of my soul In paradisum Beats the heart she stole Dream of her shall I Till the end of time, Till the stars fade away and die Sweet immortal youth Of blissful slumber Of timeless Truth Let us hold on together As the divine muse of the stars shows us the way forever Dream of her shall I Till the end of time, Till the stars fade away and die Came the ethereal muse to me In my darkest hour when I was left alone Left to my fate, left to drift on the silver spangled sea To guide me beneath the stars all unknown And if - I may embrace her again The daughter of divine eternal Elysium And if - true -love - is - fair, let us meet
